Studio glass furnaces

Studio glass furnaces are made as transportable studio furnaces. The heating system is based on the application of flow mixer, which makes it possible to premix the gas/air mixture at the required ratio and subsequent combustion of the mixture in high-speed burners. Combustion products flowing with high speed inside the furnace ensure the optimum heat transfer into the glass melt and absolute temperature homogeneity without local warming of pots or furnace ends. The capacity of the burners is regulated automatically. The given heating enables ideal combustion both from economical and ecological points of view. On customer’s request any other heating system is available. The refractory lining of furnaces is made of high-aluminium fire clay materials. Furnaces are effectively insulated with expanded fireclay and ceramic fibre mats. The whole lining is tightened with a steel structure and jacketed with a cover plate. For easy pot exchange a special small extended block is used. Furnaces are delivered in an assembled state with warm glass pocket. The combustion products are exhausted through the furnace bottom into an exhaust flue and a steel chimney.
